Sunday, Jan 5. Fine.
I choose not to be hit by the stark reality that school reopens tomorrow....just don't wanna think about it right now...coz the thought of it just makes me sick. Anyway, gab, lynette and I kinda spent our last night together yesterday...well....we met in the evening....had a game of tennis....long and mervin came too....it was pretty fun....I guess we played for like 3 hours or so....and I kinda broke my record coz I played tennis thrice this week....=).....after which, gab, lynette and I went for a VERY late dinner...or rather, supper at S'pore Chinatown restaurant....guess that has become our favourite eating place for the time-being...haha....and as usual, 1 of the dishes we ordered was the sizzling hotplate beancurd....yummy...!Man, I think we ordered a wrong dish this time - lemon chicken......it sure didn't go well with the sweet and sour fish that we ordered....and we ate so much until we felt so stuffed up.....and lynette felt the worst of us all...she looked like she was gonna throw up anytime....and gab was like stuffing himself with all the chicken....man, it was a funny sight....after dinner, we went for a car ride to the airport.....then gab had leg cramps so I took over the wheel....drove to King's Park and decided to seek some adventure....this time, gab took over the wheel again...he drove us right into this nature walk thingy....it was pitch-dark I tell you....no street lights or whatsoever...the only source of light were the headlights of the car.....but it was pretty thrilling....coz God knows if an animal might just leap out in front of the car or something..haha.....yeah, guess that was the highlight of the night....well, lynette kinda dozed off in the car halfway...so she didn't get to see the surroundings...but I woke her up later....the last thing we did was to go to the jetty and watch the seagulls and stone over there....rather good place to stone I must say....and we started chatting and reflecting on how much fun we've had during these 2 weeks.....man, gonna miss all the fun times we had.....and I reckon it's gonna be the 1st and last time the 3 of us are gonna have such a whale of a time again.....guess these memories will be etched deeply in my heart....and leave an indelible impression on my memory....got home at 3 this morning....woke up at 9.....coz of a phone call...but went back to sleep again till 10....going to church later in the afternoon and i reckon it's gonna be 1 dreadful day......
