Mon, August 9. Fine.
I've been down with luck lately...yesterday was one unfortunate day...
Went shopping with hunny and leng at HarbourTown and we took my car there...on our way back to hunny's place, a mishap happened...I was too shocked and depressed after the whole incident...well, I slowed down upon seeing the traffic light turn amber...and this stupid taxi driver was following so closely behind that he didn't brake in time and hit my car from the back...the impact was so great that the back of my car is now dented quite badly and the boot can't be closed properly...even some of paint work fell off...geee....I was so cheesed off but managed to maintain my cool...thank gdness none of us were injured and it was mainly hunny and leng that liased with the taxi driver...apparently, the driver wants to settle it privately and not go through insurance coz it's his fault and his premium will be affected if he did it that way...so...I'm expecting a call from him today so he can tell me where to get a repair quote from...Sigh, this is my 2nd accident within half a yr...both were not my fault...why am I always the one getting hit???Damn...can't the people in Aus drive more carefully?
Didn't even have the mood for tennis after that and ended up playing for awhile only...anyway, we didn't have access to turn on the lights in the court when it turned dark...so we only had a short session of tennis...
Dinner was with hunny and his parents at Yip Kee...and the whole issue was revolving in my mind the entire night...
