Cloudy.
Met up with steff yesterday...had lunch at red rooster then headed to john hughes(car dealership)in vic park to get them to run a valuation for my car...but the stupid salesman who served me was so rude...wouldn't even do the valuation for me unless I was selling it there and then...anyway, steff & I went harbourtown to shop after that!As usual, she bought more stuff than me...gosh, thought I'm a spendthrift in s'pore but she's worse than me...she'll buy whatever she sets her eyes on without even considering twice...think I really tonned down alot on my shopping ever since I came here to study...we were quite happy with the stuff we bought...bought a mint coloured bag...=)The best part of the day was that someone actually saw my car ad in quokka and offered me 10 grand for it...but bear in mind he's a car salesman so he'll try to rip me off...but I was adamant and said 10 grand is too low a price...so I told him I'll consider...and guess what, this persistent salesman called me AGAIN this morning and I told him the least amount I'll sell my car for is 11 grand... so yeah, he was so keen on it and even wanted to view the car....so hunny and I met up with him...after he inspected it...he said he couldn't buy it at 11 grand coz of the deep scratch on my bonnet and the dealers will have to spend money repainting it so he marked the offer down by 300...then hunny and I haggled with him...agreed on 10800...I was quite hesitant...so I made an overseas call to my dad...he was quite reluctant for me to sell it at that price initially...but I explained to him about the scratch and other stuff...and he gave me the green light...boy, I was cursing at the person who keyed my car...if not for him/her, I'd have sold my car at a higher price...oh well, can't believe I sold it for 1 grand off the price I advertised...!!!I'm not so worried about the money part...just a tad upset that I'll have to part with the transport that carried me to and fro to uni and stuff...gonna miss my car so much...and it has a very nice number plate too=(As of next wednesday, I'll be 'car-less'...*sobz*
