Fine.
So yesterday I met up with yy at causeway point to pass her the nougats and tim tams that were specially air-flown from perth...and she treated me to dim sum at crystal jade...the dim sum there is just divine...still tastes so good from the last time I had it...that was 3 years back...before I left for perth...and now I'm back again...after a hearty and scrumptious lunch, we went shopping around the area...bought a pair of pointed heels from charles & keith and yy got me a shirt from g2000 as my belated bday present for my very first job interview today...yy bought a couple for herself too...yeah so after shopping, we took pictures of ourselves...I felt kinda embarrassed at first coz it seemed very narcissistic of us but who cares...wanted to stay longer to meet her bf but had to hurry home coz I was already late for my video conferencing session with hunny...
So I dragged myself outta bed very early this morning for the interview...couldn't really sleep well though...I remembered applying for IDC(international data corporation)online for the post of media relations executive but when I went there and to my horror, it was nicholas goh and associates(it's under prudential actually). It was then I realized that both companies were in the same building and IDC is on 38th floor and nicholas goh & associates, on 7th. Okay, so I guessed the online posting of my CV did land me somewhere...in the hands of a random company and that was how prudential rang me up for an interview and not IDC...nonetheless, I still went ahead with the interview...it was for the post of financial planner...like hello, I know nuts abt financial planning...so I just bullshited my way thru...anyway, my interviewer was rather nice...and he sidetracked a little...started talking about perth coz I studied there for 3 years...and he was telling me that the company has very little experience in the field of mass comm...and told me there are 200 candidates applying for positions at prudential & if I get shortlisted, I have to go back for 2 more interviews...1 with the manager, the other with the director...scary..and today's session was just part of the selection process...hopefully, I'll get more calls from other companies soon=)
