3 more days before we vacate the office and move on-site(s'pore expo)for the exhibition for the entire month of october...this week has been rather lax so far...coz all orders have halted and we're checking the final orders to make sure everything is in place...can't afford any glitches or the exhibitors are probably gonna curse and swear at us if anything is amiss...I'm really dreading the thought of working 7 days and long hours...sigh...looks like conversation sessions with hunny will be cut short for october...=(I really wanna cry now...
Oh, there was a hit-and-run mishap outside my office building today...upon reaching my workplace, there was a huge commotion and I was wondering what was going on...to my horror, I saw a body lying on the road...covered with a white plastic sheet...there were lotsa on-lookers and there was a bicycle at the accident scene...I suppose the cyclist got hit by a car and he probably got flung off his bike...the impact was rather great as it caused him his death....so freaky...then the investigators uncovered the white sheet and started snapping pics of the corpse and the remnants of the accident...I saw a car bumper appearing outta nowhere and there wasn't a car to be seen...so the guy who caused the accident must have sped off...there were bloody patches on the road so they had to do some cleaning up...later in the day, my colleagues heard over the radio that it was a hit-and-run...victim was an old man...
Better pray for protection everyday...life is so unpredictable...treasure your loved ones and friends around you...
