[Sunday, January 01, 2006 . ]

New year greetings y'all!Hope all of you have a splendid 2006 and all the best in your endeavours!

So, 2005 ended on a reminiscent note. There were the good and bad times, ups and downs. Firstly, I went to bangkok with hunny and family in january and had a whale of a time there. Secondly, there was my convocation in february and my parents flew over to perth to attend it and at the same time, took a short vacation in perth. Thirdly, I was in perth trying to apply for PR and working part-time till end of july because my visa expired and I had return to s'pore and leave my love behind. My saddest moment but I believe we'll be re-united very soon. Fourthly, I worked at pico art on a contract-based appointment for 2 1/2 months. Established new acquaintances and gained a gargantuan amount of experience and insight of the working world. Currently unemployed and dying to return to aus. Hopefully 2006 will kick-off on a better note. No point dwelling on old defeats, conflicts, victories and time to look forward and work hard during this year. During yesterday's church sermon, pastor mentioned not to nurse, curse and rehearse old wounds but to release it and the Almighty will disperse it. Hunny, if you're reading this, just wanna wish you happy new year once again and say that I miss you heaps, you'll always have a special place in my heart.
Last night, I gathered with some of my S02 pals for countdown at chijmes. Lynette joined us too! Yuki was the early bird, the rest of us arrived late. So she managed to get her friend who was also at chijmes to reserve a table at Father Flanagan's. We all felt so cheated as they didn't even do an official countdown and we had to do one ourselves. Didn't even pay for our drinks coz they forgot to bill us. There was another group of pjc people there. So after we played drinking games and had our fair share of fun at Father Flanagan's, we headed to esplanade's glutton's bay for supper. It was super crowded but at least we weren't packed like sardines coz we were smart and found an alternative route that took us to our destination. Didn't really have to jostle with the crowd but inhaling the stench of perspiration in the air was inevitable. Haha. The going home part after supper was the worst. Traffic was crawling and it was almost impossible to hail a cab. So qh, shak, cm and I had to settle for Night Rider. Thank goodness we boarded 1 stop earlier and got seats on the bus. Long ride back for me. Reached home only at 430 this morning. Thanks to all for the company. Nice catching up with you guys!Check out some of the photos we took, impossible for me to upload all though...
