One of my colleagues left us for good today as she's going to the US to reunite with her fiance and get married. Gonna miss her coz she's my mentor and even though I only got to know her for slightly less than a month, the bond between us was there. She was also very patient in teaching me the ropes and very encouraging. I could share with her my problems and talk to her about everything. She understands what I'm going through coz she's also in a long-distance relationship. I'm happy for her that her relationship has a fairytale ending. I hope mine will turn out that way too. Everytime work gets dreadful and daunting, I tell myself I have to work my way back to perth.
