Monday blues...
It was one hell of a day at work and I just have to blog about it to vent my frustrations since this is a channel for me to let it all out so, screw it. I was greeted with a lot of stupidity in the morning. I'd better not mention names, lest someone in the office chances on my blog. Haha. I HATE it when people don't think before they speak and start speaking through their asses later...geez...that really pisses me off. The information that he required was all embedded in those paragraphs and he just had to ask me impertinent questions...questions in which I'm in no position to answer...and he just kept repeating himself like some broken tape recorder. What a dumbass. Later in the morning, some idiotic reporters made my blood boil. They were friggin' rude and demanding. Who the heck do they think they are and why must I be at their beck and call if it's not under our purview?They were calling me incessantly on the phone and hounding me for information before the end of the day. Just great. Ok. If they'd asked me nicely and were not so demanding and gave me ample time to work on it, I'd have acceded to their requests without any grouses but I was totally cheesed off at their attitudes. Nonetheless, I still managed to provide them with what they needed after ED gave the green light and said my work was flawless and didn't need amendments. Woo, job satisfaction for all the hard work and wrecking of brains! That aside, some people just do not have basic proper manners. Argh. Oh well, the vicissitudes of working life. Just got to grit and bear! God help me and keep me sane.
Yesterday saw me and a bunch of my cg mates cycling and blading at ECP. Boy did I have a solid workout. I was the only one who bladed. The lovebirds were on their 2-seater bicycle and ZH and Elvi cycled too. Somehow, we dispersed along the way. I left the lovebirds to have a 'world of their own' and ZH and Elvi disappeared to watch the sunset. So it was 'me' time...unbridled and unrestrained...just blading from one end of ECP to the other and back...been a long time since I bladed...gotta start again soon. I anticipated my thighs to ache today but they didn't. Phew. Dinner was at Cosy Bay cafe at Kallang with a very picturesque surrounding view. After which, we left the lovebirds on their own again and headed to KFC for round 2. No pics from ECP coz ZH left her camera in Colin's car and I left mine at home.
